Let’s just not fool around with chemicals and eat food the way nature intended. Are all of your ingredients organic? We do our very best to use certified organic ingredients as much as possible - noted with a * asterisk in the ingredient list. Some ingredients like Himalayan Sea Salt come from nature and are not part of organic certification. Why Buckwheat? The protein in buckwheat is a high quality protein, containing all eight essential amino acids, including lysine. According to Celiac.com, buckwheat can be safely eaten by people who have celiac disease as it does not contain gluten. While many people think that buckwheat is a cereal grain, it is actually a fruit seed that is related to rhubarb and sorrel. Buckwheat has been linked to lowered risk of developing high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Buckwheat's beneficial effects are due in part to its rich supply of flavonoids, particularly rutin. Flavonoids are phytonutrients that protect against disease by extending the action of vitamin C and acting as antioxidants. Buckwheat is very high in magnesium which relaxes blood vessels, improving blood flow and nutrient delivery while lowering blood pressure-the perfect combination for a healthy cardiovascular system. Best of all, it stays crispy and tastes great! What is ‘Raw Agave Nectar’? Organic Raw Agave is a natural sweetener extracted from the Agave plant, a relative of the cactus and of aloe.
